Airbus Helicopters Canada recently concluded a 5000 kilometers tour of Easter Canada demonstrating the EC130 T2.
During the month of May demos have been performed around Greater Toronto Area, Montreal & Quebec City giving the opportunity to private customers, operators and other Industry stakeholders to discover the powerful and enhanced version of the previous EC130.
All of the enhancements are customer driven. The new EC130 T2 was unveiled at the 2012 Heli-Expo in Dallas, Texas where it registered more than 100 orders – most of which came from the Heli-tourism sector.
While the EC130 T2 is popular within the Heli-tourism sector, there is interest coming not only from the private and corporate sectors in Canada, but also from the utility sectors.
Airbus helicopters specialists & pilots were part of the demo tour and were delighted to have had the opportunity to display this aircraft amongst the Helicopter community in Eastern Canada.
While the EC130 T2 is now back in Fort Erie undergoing test flights for the ongoing STC development program, it has (limited) availability for demo flights locally.
