The 2015 HAC Convention and Trade Show, Canada’s largest annual gathering of the Canadian Helicopter Industry was held in Vancouver BC from November 13th – 15th marking HAC’s 20th anniversary. Over 120 exhibitors attended, the conference reported a record number of participants.
Airbus Helicopters featured the first H130 Utility configured aircraft in Canada on static display. 3 out 6 airframes on display were Airbus Helicopters – AS355 N (Heliproducts), BK117 (Great Slave Helicopters) the show also included a winching demo over the Vancouver harbour with the BK117.
Helicopter enthusiasts, utility operators and corporate customers alike all came together over this two day event to learn about what are the latest and greatest innovations in helicopter aviation. Airbus Helicopters hosted a technical session providing updates on the H120, H125, H130 and AS350 B2 aircraft and dedicated presentations were held to promote the new connected services.
This year’s tradeshow was a resounding success and we are looking forward to what next year will bring in Edmonton, Alberta!
