Beginning January 1st, 2014, Eurocopter will be rebranded as Airbus Helicopters, part of a wider rebranding effort by our parent company EADS.
The reorganization of EADS will include renaming EADS in favor of the globally recognized Airbus brand. Our group’s Airbus division will remain responsible for commercial airplane activities, while consolidation of Airbus Military, Astrium and Cassidian brands will form Airbus Defence & Space division. Eurocopter will be rebranded as Airbus Helicopters and will continue to oversee the group’s commercial and military helicopter activities.
With the new name change, Eurocopter will remain the same company with the same governance and organization, working hard to provide the best support and solutions for our customers!
