Fort Erie, 19 May 2016 – Ascent Helicopters expands their fleet with a new H125 and the aircraft will be operated in Fernie, B.C. Known for its performance, versatility and low maintenance costs, the H125 is the ideal choice to expand and compliment the working fleet of Ascent Helicopters.

The H125 is a member of the Airbus Helicopters’ rugged and proven Ecureuil family.  These aircraft have accumulated more than 23 million hours of flight time experience. Some 4,950 Ecureuil aircraft have been delivered in 110 countries for some 1,600 operators. More than 1,400 H125’s are currently in-service worldwide and are used mainly for high performance missions in “high and hot” conditions.

The H125 outclasses all other single engine helicopters for performance, versatility, maintenance costs, safety and low acquisition.  This new H125 will be the first Airbus Helicopters aircraft acquired by Ascent Helicopters and will be utilized for utility work, construction, film & television, fire suppression, heli-skiing, medevac and natural resources.
