Subject: NR Overspeed Inspection Procedure

When following the procedure in AMM 05-50-00, 6-3 STEPS TO BE TAKEN AFTER ROTOR OVERSPEED, it is important that the correct NR value is used.
Older ASU #2 cards do not allow the VEMD to record NR values higher than 450 RPM. In this case the recorded NF value is to be used in place of NR when following the steps in AMM 05-50-00, 6-3.
